Repellent Spray
A pungent egg-and-garlic spray coats foliage with a smell most browsing animals steer clear of, without leaving any lasting residue on the plant itself.

Ingredients
2 eggs
2 cloves garlic
1 quart water
1 teaspoon mild liquid dish soap
Instructions

Blend the eggs and garlic cloves with a small amount of water until smooth.

Pour into a jar with the remaining water and let sit, covered, for 24 hours.

Strain out the solids and stir in the dish soap so the spray clings to leaves.

Spray foliage animals tend to browse, reapplying after rain or every couple of weeks.
Tip: Let the mixture sit a day before straining — the rotten-egg smell that develops is unpleasant to us but exactly what keeps deer and rabbits away.
